Macchiato arrived at our shelter as a single rabbit and is now looking for a new home. To ensure he is kept in a manner appropriate to his species, he needs sufficient space to hop about, a second level for the best view, and the opportunity to dig. It should also be noted that rabbits are not cuddly pets. However, they are very interesting to watch. In Machchiato’s case, it is also important to ensure that his food is cut into very small pieces, as his incisors had to be removed. As he has only ever been kept indoors, he will need to spend this winter indoors. If you are interested in adopting him, we would be delighted to hear from you via email; please include photos of the hutch, its dimensions and details of any rabbits you already have.
