Future Day / Internship / AG
Thank you for your enthusiasm for our animal shelter and your interest, YoursFuture Day / Your internship / Your AG We are very pleased to welcome children to spend time with us. For several years now, children have been taking advantage of this opportunity to get a taste of what it's like to be an animal keeper. Interesting projects await you. For example, you could pamper our four-legged friends with a walk, grow animal food and feed it to our rodents, organise a fundraising campaign, make animal toys, get to know everyday life at the animal shelter and much more.
The following schools currently offer their pupils an all-day programme: Carl von Ossietzky CVO school centre, Kreisgymnasium Wesermünde, Paula-Modersohn-Schule, Schule am Leher Markt.

Guided tours for school classes and youth groups

During their visit, the participants are given a welcome talk to find out what tasks the animal shelter fulfils and how the care and treatment of around 600 animals in need is managed each year. The animal shelter grounds are also explored during the joint tour.
