We receive support from three "newly qualified" animal welfare counsellors who have been trained by our umbrella organisation.

Volunteer animal welfare counsellors are people who are committed to animal welfare by inspecting animal facilities and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. They work on a voluntary basis on behalf of our animal welfare organisation. Their tasks include checks as part of the placement of our Animals.

The following contents were taught in the seminar:

- Legal bases (Animal Protection Act, Animal Protection Dog Ordinance, etc.)

- Legal options and practical procedures for prosecuting animal welfare cases

- Assessment of pain, suffering and damage to the animal

- Assessment criteria for animal welfare problems in animals
