If you would like to contact us about a found wild animal, we would like to point out as a precaution that we are not responsible for wild animals. Please understand that we have neither the in-depth knowledge nor the capacity to take in and care for squirrels, bats, etc. If it is an injured animal, we will support you in such exceptional cases, as long as our capacity allows. Of course, we will also help you to find a professional rehoming centre.

Unfortunately, this is an additional task that cannot be managed alongside our work for animal welfare and our animal shelter operations.

Road users who cause an accident involving hoofed game (e.g. roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, wild boar) are obliged to report it to the relevant police station.
